Supported Housing

Chevin has its own dedicated Supported Housing Department that develops and manages a range of services that provide accommodation with support.
The support received by tenants is provided by specialist support providers.
Access to the services is usually via referral to the local authority or to the support provider.
The main tenures that people are issued with are Assured (non-shorthold) Tenancies, Assured Shorthold Tenancies and, in certain specific situations License Agreements are issued.
We currently provide housing with support to the following user groups:
- Housing for older people
- People with mental health problems
- People with learning disabilities
- Teenage parents
- Women at risk of domestic violence
- Single homeless people with support needs
- People with drug problems
