Local Groups

Tenants' and residents' associations or community groups can play a key role within the community by helping to tackle anti-social behaviour, applying for funding for local projects, organising social events for everybody to attend and acting as a united voice on local campaigns.
Chevin provides support to local groups by paying room costs, attending meetings to answer queries, helping to form committees and open bank accounts and assisting with funding applications.
If you would like to start up a group or would like more information about any existing groups, please contact your Housing Officer for more details.
