Each estate has its own walkabouts that are arranged in advance and notification is sent out to everybody that lives on the estate.  Housing officers and technical officers meet with tenants and residents to monitor estate services such as gardening and cleaning and meet with our contractors to keep standards high.

There is currently a consumer panel covering the South Yorkshire area that meets periodically to discuss local estate issues and services.  During 2010 we are planning to expand this work.  If you are interested in joining the South Yorkshire consumer panel or would like to set one up for the area you live in please contact your housing officer with your details.
