Tenant Services Authority
The Tenant Services Authority, known as the TSA, was set up as a result of the 2008 Housing and Regeneration Act.
The TSA was launched on 1st December 2008 and is the regulator for affordable housing. The TSA has taken over the regulatory powers of the Housing Corporation and their goal is to raise the standard of services for tenants.
The TSA's website has a variety of information about how they regulate affordable housing providers, together with publications, research, news and good practice information.
The TSA published the 'Regulatory Framework for Social Housing in England' and this framework and standards came into effect at the beginning of April 2010.
