John Charlesworth
John left school at the age of 15 and became a lorry drivers mate till 1958. From then he went on to work in an Abbatoir until 1964, moving on to the Post Office until 1970 and finally working in Engineering at the Chesterfield Tube Company.
John retired from the company in 1995 and since then has become a member of several Crown Green Bowling Clubs.
John has always been interested in housing association work and joined Hallam's resident panel in 2000 and is still a member of the same panel (now Chevin) along with a member of the editorial panel.
In 2010 John was elected as a Board member of the Chevin Parent Board.
