South Yorkshire Into Work Project
Chevin is a key partner in a local consortium which has recently developed a project framework that will help those disadvantaged from obtaining employment to get into the job market. The group is a multi-agency partnership of employment agencies, Registered Social Landlords, the National Housing Federation and local authorities from across South Yorkshire.
It is recognised that social landlord tenants are often disadvantaged in the job market. This bid - if successful - will complement Chevin's other 'access to employment' related projects like Youthbuild where youngsters can get local construction work experience and the Community Driving Schemes where young people learn driving skils.
