Moorthorpe area regeneration
Working with Wakefield MDC, Chevin Housing Association has been successful in securing almost £3m to carry out environmental improvements, the purchasing and improvement of properties to sell to potential owner occupiers as a mechanism to address the tenure imbalance in the area and to introduce intensive management initiatives to tackle problems of crime, drugs, vandalism and anti-social behaviour in the area.
