Aids and Adaptations
We undertake aids and adaptations for existing tenants because we see this as a very positive contribution to tenant satisfaction and to helping people stay in their own home longer.
However, demand for this service is high and a waiting list does operate. This works in date order and applicants will be notified by letter when their turn has been reached.
If you wish to have aids or adaptations undertaken then please let us know. We will pass your details onto our adaptations department and a member of staff will contact you to let you know about the waiting list.
It would be helpful if you could also send in any supporting medical evidence from a Doctor, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or other relevant profession.
If you have a very urgent and immediate need for an adaptation then this can be considered but we would need medical evidence to support this.
All work is carried out in partnership with an approved installer.
We also support applicants who have asked their local council for a grant called a 'Disabled Facilities Grant'. Contact details for these local authority offices can be found if you click on the link below.
