Sheila Briggs
For 14 years Sheila has chaired the management committee of the 20-flat development where she currently lives, which is one of Harewood Housing Society's leasehold management schemes.
Sheila trained as a multi-lingual secretary (French, German and Spanish) and worked in export sales before running her own language school for 5 years. She then spent 13 years at international accountants KPMG where she was secretary to the Senior Regional Partner.
Sheila was an active fencer for several years and won the Yorkshire Ladies' Fencing Championship five times, in addition to being treasurer of the county Amateur Fencing Association and a qualified coach.
Sheila has been a board member of Harewood since 2004.
