Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has worked for major international firms of chartered accountants in Yorkshire and East Africa. He has significant project and line management experience in the financial services industry to executive level initially with Swiss Bank Corporation in London and the Yorkshire Building Society in Yorkshire.
Ian also has over 6 years experience as Head of Corporate Finance & Internal Audit of a major UK building society, reporting to the Group Finance Director.
He established his own audit, accountancy and consultancy practice in 1997 providing services to Charities, Housing & Not for Profit Organisations. The Practice now provides services 60 to 70 clients and employs 5 staff.
Ian has been a Chevin Board member since 2000.
